Our tour starts with a drive along Loch Ness, where we get a glimpse of iconic Urquhart Castle - or perhaps even Nessie. We take some time to admire a hidden gem along the way: The gorgeous Invermoriston Bridge, built by Thomas Telford, who is also known as „the Colossus of Roads".

We then continue along the banks of River Moriston to Loch Cluanie and Glen Shiel until we reach the famous Eilean Donan Castle, where you can choose to visit or just grab a coffee before we make our way over the sea to Skye, crossing the imposing Skye Bridge. On our way to Portree we grab the chance to wash our faces in River Sligachan (Aye, there is a story to that...).

After a lunch stop in Portree, we keep heading north: The stunningly beautiful Trotternish Peninsula with its distinctive rock formations and the lovely coastal scenery is certainly one of the highlights of Skye: The fantastic rock pinnacles at the Old Man of Storr, Lealt – a dramatic waterfall, Kilt Rock, where the sea has washed a wonderful pattern into the cliffs, and the dramatic, otherworldly landscape of the Quiraing are all located on the peninsula, that we will be exploring in the afternoon.

After our tour of the peninsula, we will start making our way back to Inverness via the remote Achnasheen Road. You will hear plenty more stories while taking in more breathtaking scenery along the way.
